In a materialistic and restless world, we stop to ask ourselves Who am I? And why am I? I discovered yoga while searching for answers; life always gives us what we need, when we need it. My journeys in India and studying helped me understand that yoga tradition, though thousands of years old, is still contemporary and maybe even more necessary today.
I got certified as a yoga teacher in southern India, in Sivananda Ashram Tapaswini Gudur. The Sivananda Yoga system teaches an authentically Vedic system of yoga, involving five main principles: proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet and positive thinking and meditation.
I am also a certified Kidding Around Yoga teacher, a brand designed to motivate children to be more active, build confidence and manage their emotions, in a fun and original way, with all the benefits of traditional yoga.
I believe in the yogic values that promote a healthy lifestyle, not only through physical exercises, proper breathing or deep relaxation, but also spiritually healthy. A clean, positive mind; a balanced lifestyle. A love of Self and everything there is. Through yoga we reconnect to ourselves, to who we truly are, to the divine inside.
